Ten years ago a young kobold by the name of Oriel was taken from his home as a captive by a well-to-do green half-dragon. Used by the other without restraint, Oriel managed to get away from the half-dragon through chance and became a thief when his fortunes were at their lowest. Now he has grown as a talented rogue, one in which has managed to get his hands on a very peculiar black knife for the leader of his guild. However, upon doing so Oriel will be forced to come face-to-face with the nightmare of his past, the twisted ambitions of those within the present, and the possibility of losing his soul in the future.

The question is, will he survive these ordeals?

That will be up to you to decide.

hello i have a question does the demon club only have dancing and waiting or is there another option?

Just dancing and waiting.

what's with the gold chests that can't be lockpicked? Did I miss some sort of special lockpick at the very start of the game?

There is a special Golden Key that you can find in the game that will unlock them.

Can I have a hint where to find it? I think there's some gold chests on the starter island

How far are you into the game?

Those were teases.

(1 edit)

still in the starting area, I hate missing things

Ahh, then I say move along, because those chests were meant to be teases for what's to come next.

As for the golden key, you get it after/around the time when you can get to the auction house, which is around chapter 4.

what is remembrance and renewal?
also a pretty good game, definitely a power trip by mid game but its pretty good for that.

It is a self contained story, with a very strong tie to Oriel's own, if you decide to engage with a certain plotline.

What's the difference between aftermath on and off? I presume aftermath of losing to battles?

You get a extra window to show you all of your items and experience after battle if Aftermath On.

It may slow down your game depending on your computer, that's why I have an Aftermath Off Version.

Should be fixed in V.8

Can you show me a screenshot of where you are stuck at, please?

When I entered the southern dwarven kingdom, beat the war machine and watched the event with the northern dwarf lord, after I tried to exit the inn, the scene where the northern dwarves attack suddenly started, meaning I had to do the northern battles with just Dominus and Mercury (fun.) Afterwards, the scene with the northern dwarf lord repeated with Dominus invisible. After resting at the inn and saving, the game seemingly went on as normal.

This happened to me too, the dwarven cities also kept vanishing from time to time.

I apologize for that. If you leave the area to the east back the way you came this issue should fix itself.

Actually, just a heads up that after seeing the two bugged scenes and after you get your task to investigate the volcano, if you go back East you will not be able to return. It led to a soft blocker for me but thankfully I make lots of saves so I was able to roll back.

And no worries bugs happen, it is a great game and you have done an amazing job making a mostly bug free game with this build and at least the User can progress afterwards if they just continue to follow the laid out story path.

Oh for the bug above, it is caused by entering the southern dwarf city in the South West. For some reason there are two that can be entered almost certain that is why the scene plays twice. The player is supposed to go through the top one I image (NW). I confirmed this and by going through the NW one I didn't run into the bug but I do still get the blocker if I leave through the region via the East Bridge.

Near the village where you get the boat, there is a flooded cave that I can't figure out how to enter. Any hints?

You need the Aqua Lung spell from the library.

Return there, search for the book, Mercury will study from it and then Bam! You'll be able to enter into the cave.

Also, make sure that you donate to the town mayor to learn that you need the spell first.

OK, I got the item. Trouble is, despite the game saying Mercury learned the spell, when I try to enter the cave it just says the cave is flooded. The Aqua Lung Spell is in my key items, but not in Mercury's spell list. Is this another glitch, or do I have something else I need to do?

Nope. If you have the book you are good.

Did you give money to the town mayor?

Yes, both before and after getting the book. Second time got me a Tear Of The Sun. Funny thing is, after saving and loading my game, I tried to enter the cave again, but it still said that the cave is flooded. After that, I tried to pay the mayor again, and he gave the hint again, after which I could enter with no problem.

Help! I'm currently in the tower with the three mazes containing elemental orbs. I found all three, but I don't know where to go next.

(1 edit)

If you mean the Library tower, power up the elemental orbs after finding their respective key cards and then going to the rooms via their elements, next, find the 'dark key card', go down to the lower basement, get a text scene with Kamran and Dominus, and then head back to the town.

(1 edit)

Got it. What tripped me up was that the three labyrinths had different amounts of orbs. That said, there's something I feel I should inform you of; after I got the three labyrinths completed and rescued Oriel, when I returned to the library and freed the elemental beasts, then entered the underground door (no need for any new keycards, the door just opened.)

After entering, the scene with Kamran and Mercury repeated itself. After the scene ended, I beat the high priest and entered the knife chamber (didn't grab the knife, just took the two treasure chests and left), after I tried to leave, the cutscene where Melody shouts at Kamran to tell him the fort is under attack also repeats, and from there I went to the fort, and Dominus was back in the cell.

After talking to him, I was automatically sent to Red Wall Village, and Mercury left my party (probably because he leaves when the scene is originally shown.) Anyway, I reloaded my save from the knife chamber, and after the Melody scene forcibly removed me from the library I just proceeded to the next area, where the game continued on as normal.

Hey there,

Issue fixed.

Thanks for letting me know about it.

I have a problem with the Burning Dwarf lands area; I started to visit the southern town/city but for some reason it made me fight both sets of crazy dwarves and their secret weapons before making visit the volcano but after that I'm stuck because the northern dwarf homeland is gone from the map. Please don't tell me I need to start over; it was stressful enough making sure I don't miss the treasure maps...

You're playing version V4a, correct?

Leave from the area back the way you came to the east, and then return to the map.

The village you need to go to should return to the map once you do.

Alright thanks, sorry for panicking like that. There's a lot of things I'm trying to keep track of in the game even if I took notes at my leisure.

It's fine!

Sorry for the trouble!

4/5 I highly recommend this game if you want to experience awesome storyline and don't  mind spending few dozens of hours.Few dozens thanks to huge amount of boring random  monsters.

How do you get through the dessert I keep fighting the enemies and the dessert keeps repeating.

Fight three - five enemies and a cutscene will trigger.

But you have to fight and defeat them, not run away.

The art on the sample images looks suspiciously similar to another of your games. Is it a placeholder?

Nope. I just got a second version of that image for this game.

You'll understand why if you play through to the game. XD

oh okay. good to know.

right here

Are playing V.2?

And do you have small bombs in your inventory?

Yes, it is V2.    Where to get the bomb?

You have to purchase them from an item vendor that sells them.

thank

Why can't some rocks break?

Do any that say 'breakable' don't break?

NO

(1 edit)

Got the happy ending(maybe?) !!!!

A good story about pain in the past, forgiveness and love .

Are there other endings?

I think I missed lots of erotic scenes?

(2 edits) (+1)

Best ending - Get none of the black knife shards beside the first 2.

Normal Ending - Get one of the black shards.

Bad Ending - Get four of the black shards.

Corrupted Ending - Get all five of the black shards.

The most erotic scenes can be gotten by going through the demon club.

Waiting Tables / Dancing.

(1 edit)

Do the crystal tablets have any effect on the story?

And by first two do you mean the ones before you add Mercury?

(+1)

1. Nope. But they do grant POWERFUL skills to Oriel. Especially the last one.

2. Yep. Those are mandatory, all the others are not.

Ok, thank you.

(1 edit)

I got to demon bar and chose "We'd like to dance here" then the cut-sheen show an empty dancing pole, was that so possible happen or not?

[Edit] Ok I find out how to screen shot.

Is this correct or not?

Placeholder until the artist i commission can get to this commission.

Has that placeholder been replaced in the latest update?

I saw the full image so the latest build has the full scene and art.

I don't know how but the story skipped after I faced the cursed shard in the underground to where I saved the last party member without going to the ruins in the east. Should I continue or wait until further notice?

(1 edit)

If you got the last party member you can continue on north.

I didn't want to make players have to trek all the way back there for a second time.

Oh boy... I'll take your word for it then. I was worried about missing something important but this helps a lot thank you.

(3 edits)

I think I know what they meant. When you first see the King, the player is tasked with going east to find Mercury but you can skip that whole section without even going there once by just going into the underground part of Glittergold Town past where Melody stops you your first time there and past that you can just trigger the "shard" fight with your whole party. I was confused but loaded my save and did the east part to find Mercury first and then understood what was going on. I suggest adding something to stop the player from accessing that underground part after the  Melody interaction until after doing the east area.

EDIT: Also, the fight after breaking out of the the cell was much easier with all party members (which obviously shouldn't haven been there if you do the east section first). Doing the fight correctly (alone) turned into spamming healing items because most of my skills were unusable due to having no weapons equipped for it which shouldn't be the case because the player supposedly had the black dagger because the king couldn't take it but I was unable to use any of the dagger skills in the fight. It was a very tedious fight. Lucky Stab would've been great there. : )

Changed Scene in Underground Prison -

Melody at the front area before getting into prison. Can only get into lower area after doing the factory event.

Change the king fight -

Should be much easier now.

Neat! Keep up the nice work! I've played most of your games and they are pretty great. I've run into bugs in most but ended up fixing them myself and continued on. I should've reported them here to help you out... If I find anymore I'll be sure to from now on. Do you perhaps have a Discord? Despite the grindiness and all that, I love going through RPG maker games, especially ones with decent stories so I'd love to help out iron out bugs. Or typos/text if you'd like.

Thank you for the kind commets, they mean so much! <3

Also, sorry for the bugginess.

What can I do to through here?I have more than 40 gold pieces in my bag,but still can not go through here.

Go to the village.

I had finish the event at the little village, and get the item from the ruin,so what should I do next step to through here?I talk with every NPC,but no new event happen.

Go north to the forest to defeat the ogres.

I cant see the character here.I think it is a bug.I can move it ,but cant see it.

Fixed in version V1.

Please redownload.

What's the difference between aftermath on and off?

(+1)

Aftermath on has an addition widescreen schot which comes on after battle to show you're experience gains, items and money.

Aftermath off doesn't have that. It has a basic screen at the end of the battle.

Oh. Ok thanks. I was just a bit confused but it makes sense now. Thank you.

I'm currently stuck in a sand storm in the desert. Is there a way out because while I'm strong to handle the monsters the whole thing is just tedious to deal with.

You only have to fight five of them before a boss fight will happen.

Have you fought five of them yet?

Ack, I didn't think straight because I panicked like a noob. Thank you for the help.
